(2009 - 2015) Thousand Leaves was a metal band from Japan, led by guitarist Kouta "Bach" Nagatomo. They performed arrangements of tracks from the Touhou original soundtrack, composed by ZUN. They began as a progressive band before switching to melodic death metal, which they are known for. They released their last album in 2013, but their disbandment wasn't formally announced until 2015. Bach founded Thousand Eyes, which can be a considered a spiritual successor.
